Artist Statement
Books burn at Fahrenheit 451. But in the digital era, the heat required to cancel Truth is far greater. Sometimes it seems we are heading toward Fahrenheit 10K. In this context, the Hegelian wisdom offers a faint solace: amid the fires of the war in Ukraine, the dissolving reign of deceit may have become the furnace through which Truth, having endured its own negation, is reborn in incandescent clarity. Yet in our postmodern age, contradictions have grown intrinsically exponential. In the end, will negation remain something other and more than annihilation? Will any kind of dialectic still hold?
